What a fun weekend!!

Friday night, I went to dinner and a movie with Mr. Awesome around Penn Quarter. We dined at the Hard Rock restaurant on 10th & E St. and food was average. MY veggie burger would've been better if I didn't have a few sensitive areas around my mouth (I had gone to the dentist earlier in the day). We then headed over to Landmark Theatre on 11th & E St. We were so excited about going to see Away We Go which stars John Krasinski (The Office) and comedian Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live). This place was unusual - unlike any other movie theatre. They had espressos, tea, organic cookies, and it was very tidy. We will definitely go back again! WE LOVED THE MOVIE - great mix of comedy and real life situations.

I spent Saturday afternoon with my nephews and sis-in-law at Germantown Park. It was fun as always with Devin and his day care playmates. I'll post those pics up later.

Saturday evening was a different story. Seth and Rob from LTD Ent. or Living the Dream Entertainment hosted my party at Station 9 Restaurant and Lounge.

I was all dolled up (see first pic) and ready to party!!! There were a few minor setbacks: some people thought that it'd be ok to come up there with tennis shoes on, others came way later (see sometimes it isn't bad to be punctual!), and then I couldn't party with my friends in the VIP room!! All because of a certain NFL player from the Baltimore Ravens. But I had fun downstairs with everyone anyway!!!

Thank you baby for my hot shoes and to all who came out and partied with me!!! Thanks Seth and Rob for everything!!

Happy Birthday Devin!!!

My little man is growing up so fast! Devin Banzuelo is 2 years old today.

He stayed over last weekend and kept me company while I did some house work. As soon as he came in my room, he went to my mirror and couldn't stop looking at himself. He kept sticking his tongue out and made the funniest faces LOL!

I love you Devin!!! I hope you grow up to be an intelligent and respectful man....

Chanel's Birthday Party @ Josephines

Aaahhhh, month of the Pisces!!! According to www.astrology.com they are empathetic, openhearted, intuitive, sensitive, daydreamy, and creative - prefers to go with the flow rather than fight the current. Love 'em all!

I used to be so obsessed over astrological signs and horoscopes, but I've toned down a bit. I've realized that it may be pure coincidence. Or that it may apply to everyone else - like for instance, I am also intuitive & creative - all of the above if you should know. But I still enjoy reading it every now and then.

As for Josephines, I LOVED THE PLACE! It is located on 1008 Vermont Ave. NW near Lima and Lotus. We had so much fun!!! Chanel drank a whole bottle and a half of MOET Rose while I had 2 glasses & Nat had cranberry juice per usual.

Ladies Night indeed: Angie, Krystin, Sharon, Monica, Nat, Chanel, and I had the best time! Of course, until the "barf fest" courtesy of Chanel hahaha. She's now a certified lightweight like myself.

Some people don't know what VIP means though because there were trespassers all night in our area! Had to take my shoes off after awhile (I hate heels!) and danced all night - woke up with a sore body, like I worked out for hours....

Birthday Weekend Festivities

For Evan's birthday weekend, we hit up Georgia Brown's for dinner around 9:00 pm. Then headed over a few blocks away to Ozio's. It was really a couple minutes drive thanks to Seth LOL....

Lexi's Birthday at Chuck E. Cheese

Lexi is such a cutie pie! She turned 2 yrs. old on February 22nd. We went to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate and had a great time! I took this pic of her and mommy Courtney as she covered her face with chocolate icing. Too funny.
