April Fools - Such a Tool

I'm going to come clean: I just realized I DON'T LIKE APRIL FOOL'S DAY. I think it's dumb and pointless!

There are some things you can joke about, but what are those things? And who the hell came up with this anyway?

Well, according to Wikipedia it's unclear when it all started. One of the first few recorded April Fools event was in the UK on one of its popular networks, BBC.

This is what happened: The BBC television programme Panorama ran a famous hoax in 1957, showing the Swiss harvesting spaghetti from trees. They had claimed that the despised pest, the spaghetti weevil, had been eradicated. A large number of people contacted the BBC wanting to know how to cultivate their own spaghetti trees. It was, in fact, filmed in St Albans.[6]

Ok, this was way back in the '50s, but we all know spaghetti does not grow on trees. Duh! LOL

Also, this morning my co-worker suggested that I prank my other half by giving him a pregnancy test. Why and how is that even funny? I mean, ok it all depends on delivery, but if I tell anyone that I was indeed PREGNANT, then will they believe me if and when it does happen?

Am I overanalyzing this? I gave him the WTF face and said NO. No and no and no! I refuse to succumb to the April Foolishness!
