Coldstones @ Germantown, MD
I don't remember ever being so irate & annoyed.
The last time this happened was Christmas circa 2007. I was finishing up on XMAS shopping for my family at Montgomery Mall with my S.O. We went to Things Remembered and the "manager/supervisor" was such an asshole! I returned an item, which clearly had the wrong design & info on it, but the blame was put on me! I still remember to this day what he said.
After I explained that it must have been a mistake, he says, 'No, it's not our fault. It's yours. You're the one who put the information on the form.' Both he and I have a copy of the actual form and nowhere on that damn form proved I was at fault. I was so mad, I started getting teary-eyed. Has this ever happened to you?
Well, yesterday was not that much different - aside from my reaction. I simply felt that this "supervisor" named Katie at COLDSTONES Germantown was being a smart ass for no reason. My sis-in-law and I bought a cake for my S.O. and I asked, "Don't candles come with those?" Her reply was, "Well, when you go to Giant, don't you have to buy candles?"
I quickly turned around and said, "That wasn't my question. And she answered it for me already. Thanks." The "she" being the very nice and courteous cashier. I thought about what she said and felt like she was being a disrespectful beyatch. We then asked for her last name. She asked why, but I interrupted her and said, "It's alright. We'll get it. And you don't have to be like that with your customers!"
Now, I love COLDSTONES Creamery and almost always receive the best customer service. Obviously last night's incident does not reflect this. The next time I go to that location, I may not be so nice.
